Going through hell now working 7 days a week with 36 hours stretch of continuous work in between. It's gotta be illegal to make us work like that. Gotta look up the labour law or something. The only problem is that, i'm too tired to do anything after work other than sleeping.
This is a sad sad sad sad life. Errr...nope , this is not life at all, i have no life, i'm lifeless. Gotta do something about it but i doubt anything that i do is gonna change anything cos no one gives a damn about housemens. Last option would be to quit being a doctor. This kind of life is just not worth it.

I've PASSED!
5 years
Of Hard work and Perseverance,
Of Tears and buckets of sweat,
Of Love and regrets,
Of Friendships made and strengthened,
Of Joys and sadness,
Of Lessons learned and forgotten,
Of Countless exams and hours of endless studying,
Of Numerous dim lecturers and a rare few who inspires,
Of Frustrations and enjoyment,
Of being stucked at a horrible place called kelantan,
Of trying to understand the peculiarities of that place,
Of hot humid afternoons interviewing and practicing on patients,
Of nights of insane Dota-ing till daylight occasionally ending with McDs breakfast,
Of being socially withdrawn and sacrificing precious time with loved ones and friends,
Of looking forward to going home and wishing to have one extra day at home when hols over,
Of waiting to reach the last day of medical school and graduating,
Of doubting i would last to see that day and reassuring myself that i will,
And it all culminates to one particular day, one special moment,
When i hear the Dean annoucing,
"Dr. Loh Tze Liang"
I am glad i have survived!
* Sorry for the late update, i think someone's gonna be pissed, be have been too busy having fun =p

DNR
Saw a man died today
Was there throughout the whole process
Examined him the day before
And i did not do anything
To stop him from deteriorating
Watched him gasp for air
Only asked the nurse to put on stuff to monitor his vital signs
And auscultated him to learn what a dead man's heart sounds like
Reason ?
DNR - DO NOT RESUSCITATE!

First Entry
My first entry in this blog.
This is gonna be a place to jot down my encounters along the path of medicine and my life, as a 5th year usm medical student for the next 6 months or so, and hopefully as a junior doc after that if things goes along smoothly.
Enjoy!
